I believe that when you love what you do, you never have to work a day in your life.

I was born in Quito, Ecuador, to an entrepreneurial father with a deep passion for music. From an early age, I felt that creativity was deeply embedded in my being, and it was clear that it would play a significant role in my future.

My journey began at a technical high school where I chose cosmetology as my focus, immersing myself in the beauty industry, which quickly became a second home. While working in a salon, I continued to further my education. At Worcester State University, I graduated with a Bachelor’s in Business Management, specializing in Marketing and minoring in Psychology. This critical experience allowed me to learn how psychology influences decision-making and marketing strategies.

Soon, I transitioned from the salon environment to the retail world, where I worked my way up from an associate to a store manager. A memorable milestone in my career was being part of the store opening team for Roots Canada, an experience that deeply enriched my understanding of retail and brand management.

And just for fun...

OUTSIDE OF MARKETING, I LOVE
Pasta making classes, paddle boarding with my dog, country festivals, snowboarding, learning a new craft, hair and makeup, pistachio ice cream, photography.

SOME PEOPLE DON'T KNOW
I was born in Quito, Ecuador and have lived in 3 countries.

I SECRETLY LOVE
Late night cereal and old school Spanish music.

I GET MY INSPIRATION FROM
Traveling, music, movies, the big city, books and most importantly from just observing the world around us. (yes! I do mean people watching.)

ROLE MODELS INCLUDE
People who go against all odds and “defy gravity.” Anyone who was told you can’t do it and heard “you got it.”

Looking back…

With a solid foundation in management and business development, I ventured into the marketing field, where I embraced a creative role that allowed me to further hone my brand management skills and explore design. Working with top beauty brands, like Laura Geller and Grande Cosmetics, I delved into market research and learned to blend creativity with strategic insights.

My career then led me to the dynamic world of social media, where I had the opportunity to collaborate with creators, beauty brands, salons, spas, and more. This role allowed me to bridge my passions for creativity and marketing.

A FUN FACT
That I am “quite a creative leader,” after I got the entire class to take off their shoes and socks and run around the playground barefoot. I still believe that playing is an essential part of life, creativity, and success.

MY ICE BREAKER
I built a travel van from scratch, including beams, lighting, plumbing and even a queen size bed.

MY PERSONAL PROJECT
I developed a skincare brand - starting from market research to developing a business plan to outsourcing and finally bringing a product to market.
